Blesscon lightweight bricks now have 10,000 registered building material store partners serving the retail sector. The 10,000th store is Raja Daun Building Store, located on Jl Patuk, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta.
Blesscon's Retail Sales Manager, Evan Krismiyanto, congratulated Raja Daun Store on joining the network on Tuesday (August 9). He stated that reaching the 10,000-store milestone reinforces Blesscon's extensive distribution network, which now reaches even remote areas.
He explained that since the first factory was established in Mojokerto, East Java, in 2013, approximately 5,400 building material stores have become official partners selling Blesscon lightweight bricks. These stores are spread across 9 cities and 29 regencies in East Java.
Meanwhile, Blesscon's expansion into Central Java, which began in 2020 with the construction of the Sragen factory, has already registered 4,600 stores supplying lightweight bricks across 7 cities and 33 regencies.
"We are proud and relieved that Blesscon's distribution is now well-established across Central Java and East Java. Thanks to our building store partners, Blesscon lightweight bricks are easily accessible—not only in urban areas but also in villages, even in hard-to-reach locations," Evan stated in a written release on Wednesday (August 10, 2022).
Blesscon's fleet is committed to delivering lightweight bricks even to challenging terrains and long-distance locations. The Raja Daun Building Store in Gunung Kidul is one such example.
Evan emphasized that the retail sector is crucial for Blesscon. During the pandemic, when many construction projects were halted, retail sales became the backbone of the company. Nearly 90% of Blesscon's lightweight brick sales come from the retail sector.
Fast delivery and high-quality, durable bricks are the keys to customer satisfaction. Blesscon operates under the tagline "One Day Delivery Service," ensuring that orders are delivered to partner stores within 24 hours. The company has around 500 Colt Diesel trucks and 60 tronton trucks supporting its commitment to providing "The Right Solution for Fast Construction."
Evan noted that the economic impact of Blesscon’s 10,000 building store partners is significant. Moving forward, the company plans to further expand distribution through stronger collaborations with partners. Additionally, Blesscon will drive sales by educating the public about the benefits of using lightweight bricks.
He also highlighted that the economic revival is more noticeable in the retail sector, as it directly benefits 10,000 building material stores, which are mostly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The Raja Daun Building Store, for instance, experienced a slowdown during the pandemic.
"When tourism was shut down, construction was also postponed, which affected our revenue. Honestly, we were just grateful to stay in business," recalled Maryadi, the owner of Raja Daun Store, which is located along Gunung Kidul's tourist routes.
He mentioned that demand has now started to recover. Selling Blesscon lightweight bricks has contributed to the store's profit margins. The economic activity in Raja Daun alone supports 15 workers, including the owner.
Meanwhile, Blesscon's Brand Manager, Yusuf Permadi, stated that the company is actively educating the market through various publications and training sessions. Many construction workers are still unfamiliar with lightweight bricks, and misconceptions—such as high costs, reduced building quality, and difficult installation—often discourage their use.
"In reality, using lightweight bricks is much more cost-effective. They are easy to install, saving time and reducing labor costs," he explained.
Homes built with lightweight bricks are also more resistant to fire and earthquakes. Moreover, Blesscon has obtained SNI (Indonesian National Standard) certification, ensuring top quality that customers can trust.
